Assistant Professor Chat: Maintaining Work-Life Balance

October 22, 2019 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

This event is part of the Assistant Professor Chat Series. A registration link will be emailed to all assistant professors approximately three weeks prior to the event.

The Assistant Professor Chat Series offers assistant professors the opportunity to join a small group of colleagues in open discussions on topics of interest to tenure-track faculty. The sessions will connect faculty with campus leaders and fellow colleagues, foster a sense of community, and provide opportunities to learn about key programs, research funding initiatives, and other resources that support career success. Topics may include mentoring, leadership, climate and inclusion, and advancement. There are typically four chats per academic year, two in the fall and two in the spring. All sessions are free and include lunch.
